Well, let's see how my first attempt at prognostication worked out.

Alabama vs. Western Carolina

Predicted: Alabama 38, W Carolina 10

Actual: Alabama 52, W Carolina 6

Ok, so I figured Saint Nick would call off the dogs. Silly me.

Arkansas vs. Troy

Predicted: Arkansas 31, Troy 17

Actual: Arkansas 46, Troy 26

Eh, close enough.

Auburn vs. Kansas State

Predicted: Auburn 42, Kansas State 17

Actual: Auburn 23, Kansas State 13

It was closer than it appears. And it was K State's game to lose. Which they did, with the help from Auburn's all-world defense.

Fl*rida vs. Western Kentucky

Predicted: Fl*rida a lot, Western Kentucky 3

Actual: Florida 49, Western Kentucky 3

What can I say? I'm that good.

Georgia vs. Oklahoma State

Predicted: Georgia 28, Oklahoma State 20

Actual: Georgia 35, Ok State 14

Georgia looks good.

Kentucky vs. Eastern Kentucky

Predicted: Kentucky 49, E Kentucky 14

Actual: Kentucky 50, E Kentucky 10

This will get harder once real teams start playing other real teams.

Ole Miss at Memphis

Predicted: Ole Miss 13, Memphis 12

Actual: Ole Miss 23, Memphis 21

Memphis was thisclose to tying the game at the end, but the Rebels pulled one out.

South Carolina vs. La-Lafayette

Predicted: USC 38, La-Lafayette 7

Actual: USC 28, La-Lafayette 14

Something's not right with that picture.

Tennessee at California

Predicted: Cal 35, Tennessee 28

Actual: Cal 45, Tennessee 31

Heck of a game.

Vanderbilt vs. Richmond

Predicted: Vandy 21, Richmond 0

Actual: Vandy 41, Richmond 17

I envy Vandy football.

Mississippi State vs. LSU

Predicted: LSU 41, MState 17

Actual: LSU 45, MState 0

Not surprised by LSU's offensive output. Utterly disgusted by MState's "offense".

Weir vs. South Leake

Predicted: Weir 34, South Leake 21

Actual: Weir 43, South Leake 0

I should be surprised, but I'm not.

So that's a 12-0 start. Not bad, but then again, no real surprises from week 1. A couple of close games, but the "team that was supposed to win" did win.
